Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced the following recent Bradford County criminal case resolutions: Magisterial District Court

Mark Ellis, 56, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to 26 days, and court costs. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Ellis for the offense on Oct. 9, 2013, following investigation of a Disorderly Conduct that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Gabriel Spencer, 38, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $250, and court costs. Officer Brian Wibirt of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Spencer for the offense on Jan. 19, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Jessica Kepner, 27, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $100 and court costs. Trooper George Layou of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kepner for the offense on Sept. 28, 2013, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Albany Township.

Thomas Gee, 31, Wellsburg, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $100, restitution in the amount of $450.00 and court costs. Trooper Michael Tribendis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Gee for the offense on Nov. 23, 2013, following investigation of a retail theft that occurred in North Towanda Township.

David Soprano, 51, Waverly, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to 44 days and court costs. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Soprano for the offense on Feb. 19, 2013, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Township.

Bobbi Jo Snook, 39, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $200, and court costs. Trooper Steve Steransky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Snook for the offenses on Dec. 11, 2013, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Troy Township.

Joshua Vanderpool, 23, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offenses of Retail Theft, a summary offense, Driving under Suspension, a summary offense, and Required Registration, also a summary offense and was sentenced to 14 days and a fine of $200 and court costs. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Vanderpool for the offense on Dec. 24, 2013, following investigation of a retail theft that occurred in Athens Township.

Rachel Marrero, 29, Sayre, Pa., entered pleas of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offenses of Duty to give Information, a summary offense and Driver Required to be Licensed, also a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $225 and court costs. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Marrero for the offenses in Dec. 20, 2013, that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Jordan Sinsabaugh, 27, Waverly, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to pay a fine of $300 and court costs.

Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Sinsabaugh for the offense on Dec. 16, 2013, following investigation of a possession that occurred in Athens Township.

Travis Kinner, 25, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offenses of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor and Public Drunkenness, a summary offense and was sentenced to five days and a fine of $100 and court costs. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kinner for the offense on Jan. 10, 2014, following investigation of a public drunkenness that occurred in Towanda Township.

Casey Voorhees, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offenses of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $300 and court costs. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Voorhees for the offense on May 26, 2013, following investigation of a possession of paraphernalia that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Daniel Light, 43, Rome, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to a fine of $200, and court costs. Trooper Christopher Schelling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Light for the offense on Dec. 22, 2013, following investigation of an incident that occurred in Orwell Township.

James K. Buskirk, 27, Ulster, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of five days and a fine of $100, and court costs. Trooper Robert Richter of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Buskirk for the offense on Dec. 26, 2013, following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Township.

Melissa Ackley, 25, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced five days and court costs. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ackley for the offense on Feb. 7, 2014, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Towanda Township.

Justin Sharrow, 30, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offenses of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $100 and court costs. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Sharrow for the offense on Nov. 30, 2013, following invesitagation of a possession that occurred in Franklin Township.

Kimberly Darrow, 33, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $300 and court costs. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Darrow for the offense on Jan. 11, 2014, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Thomas W. Trainor Jr, 26, Dushore, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Driving while Operating Privilege Suspended, Ignoring a Stop Sign, Failure to use Turn Signal, and Careless Driving, all summary offenses and was sentenced to pay fines and costs. Trooper Timothy Youngblood of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Trainor for the offenses in November 2013.

Jennifer L. Perry, 28, Wellsburg, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to pay fines and costs. Trooper Jeffrey Sredenschek of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Perry for the offense in May 2013.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Candace M. Chilson, 32, of Dushore, Pa., was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months with 90 days imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility followed by house arrest under electronic monitoring, she was also ordered to pay restitution of $25 and a fine of $1000, she will also lose her driver's license for six months, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, a Felony. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Chilson following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Janelle M. Maines, 22, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months with 45 days imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility followed by six months house arrest under electronic monitoring, she was also ordered to pay a fine of $4000, for the offenses of three counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, one graded a misdemeanor and two misdemeanors of the first degree. Maines was arrested for the offenses in June, October and November 2013 by Bradford County Enforcement officers.

Holden Taylor, 19, Elmira, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months plus 15 days to 23 months, 29 days and fines totaling $850, he will also lose his driver's license for six months, for the offenses of Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, a Felony, and Corruption of Minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Taylor for the offense in July 2013.

Robert R. Lafy, 45, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Facility of from 10 months to 36 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $140, and a fine of $500, he will also lose his driver's license for six months, for the offense of Criminal Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a Felony. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Lafy following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ulster Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Thomas P. Latini, 58, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Latini will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Latini following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.

Jeffrey Jackson, 27, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Jackson will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hoffman for the offense in Aug. 28, 2013.

Jesse Dupont, 20, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under Suspension, a summary offense. Dupont will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dupont following investigation of an incident that occurred in May 27, 2013 in Troy Township.

Dustin Westbrook, 28, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, and Driving under Suspension, a summary offense. Westbrook will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Westbrook following investigation of an incident that occurred in May 27, 2013 in Troy Township.

Thomas White, 28, Dushore, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Propel Missile into Occ. Vehicles, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and Recklessly Endangering another Person, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

White will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Nate Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested White following investigation of an incident that occurred in Overton Township.

Frederick D. Bombacie, 57, Waverly, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Bombacie will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Bombacie for the offense in September

2013.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently was placed on the ARD program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa.:

Matthew M. Wood, 44, Wysox, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Wood, will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Wood must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wood for the offense.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person(s) recently entered a plea of Nolo Contendere in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas Towanda:

Dylan Cranmer, 24, Warren Center, Pa., entered a plea of nolo Contendere/no contest to Accident Involving Injury (leaving the scene), a misdemeanor. Cranmer will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Andrew Stempien of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cranmer following investigation of an incident that occurred in Bradford County.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett, announced that the following person(s) were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Cameron A. May, 24, Roaring Branch, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from five days to six months, following termination of his placement in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program, and was also ordered to pay restitution of $22,479.45 and a fine of $1000, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested May following investigation of an incident that occurred in August 2011.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person(s) recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Valerie M. Bennici, 32, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, a felony. Bennici will be sentenced on March 17, 2014. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Bennici for the offense in December 2013.

John E. Myers, 29, Wyalusing, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Myers will be sentenced on April 13, 2014. Officer Donald Stringham of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Myers for the offense in April 2013.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person(s) recently were accepted into the ARD Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Rose Ann Coolbaugh, 47, Wyalusing, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, and was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Coolbaugh will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Coolbaugh must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; as conditions of ARD placement. Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Coolbaugh for the offense in November 2013.

Beth Coleman, 38, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a Felony of the third degree, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Coleman will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Coleman must undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation with treatment as required; she must also pay restitution in the amount of $2103.36. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges in September 2013.

William L. Beers, 53, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Failure to Provide Information at the scene of a motor vehicle accident, was accepted into the ARD Program and place on probation for a term of six months. While on probation Beers will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Beers must undergo drug and alcohol evaluation with subsequent treatment as required. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges in August 2013.

Karen Hagerman, 33, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Theft, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Hagerman will be subject to supervision be the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Hagerman must perform 20 hours community service. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hagerman for the offense on Oct. 21, 2013, in Wysox Township.

Ashley Bush, 31, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Bush will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Bush must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Ryan Edsall of the Towanda Borough Police Department filed the charges in Aug. 8, 2013 for the offense in Towanda Borough.

Lynette Bristol, 40, Troy, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Bristol will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Bristol must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department filed the charges in Aug. 31, 2013 for the offense in Canton Borough.
