DUI charges
The following people were recently arrested for driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Joshua Mitchell, 26, of Sayre, by Sayre Borough police, on Feb. 21, on West Lockhart Street in Sayre. Mitchell has also been charged with driving without a valid license. Police said Mitchell failed a field sobriety test and refused a blood test to determine his level of intoxication. Mitchell was believed to be under the influence of bath salts at the time of his arrest, according to police. Mitchell was arraigned Feb. 21 by Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. Mitchell's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
