Woman charged with selling Oxycodone

Rhonda Gene Benjamin, 22, of Towanda has been charged by state police with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering another person relating to an Oct. 8 incident on State Route 2024.

According to police, Benjamin sold 10 tablets of Oxycodone to a confidential informant for $120.

During the drug sale, Benjamin had an infant child in the vehicle, police said.

Benjamin was released on non-monetary bail conditions after an arraignment Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark. She is scheduled to appear before Judge Clark on March 12 at 10:45 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.

Drug dealing charges

Debra A. Spencer, 51, of Towanda has been charged by state police with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility relating to an Oct. 1 incident on Main Street in Towanda Borough.

According to police, Spencer sold 20 Vicodin tablets to a confidential informant for $100.

Spencer was released on non-monetary bail conditions after an arraignment on Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark. She is scheduled to appear before Judge Clark on March 19 at 10 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.

Woman faces drug charges

Patti Jo Benjamin, 41, of Towanda has been charged by state police with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility relating to incidents on Sept. 3 and Nov. 21 on Railroad Street in Towanda Township.

According to police, during both incidents, Benjamin sold Oxycodone tablets to confidential informants.

Benjamin was released on non-monetary bail conditions after an arraignment on Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark. She is scheduled to appear before Judge Clark on March 12 at 10:15 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.
