Hopewell Crime for March 30

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 12:39 a.m. March 18, police responded to the 400 block of N. 3rd Ave. for a reported suspicious vehicle. Driver illegally possessed drugs and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 8:47 a.m. March 21, police responded to the 600 block of S. 6th Ave. for a reported narcotics possession. Known offender was found to be in possession of narcotics. Petitions pending.

- Fraud-Fraud by Impersonation: At 12:30 a.m. March 17, police were dispatched to headquarters for a reported fraud that occurred in the 3900 block of Bolling Drive. Unknown offender used victim's information to obtain tax refund.

- Fraud-Fraud By Impersonation: At 12:01 a.m. March 21, police were dispatched to headquarters for a reported fraud that occurred in the 1500 block of Autumn Drive. Unknown offender used victim's information to obtain a cell phone.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 8:44 a.m. March 20, police assisted a disabled vehicle at Winston Churchill and South 6th Ave. Vehicle was found to be displaying a stolen tag and driver fled.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 a.m. March 20, police responded to the 600 block of Yellowstone Drive for a reported larceny. Known offender took key to medication room. Key was later returned.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 4 p.m. March 22, police were called to the 3600 block of Creekwood Drive for a report of larceny. Unknown offender stole unsecured go-kart from a back yard.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 11 p.m. March 21, police responded to the 600 block of N. 9th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole heat pump from exterior of residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 8 a.m. March 17, police responded to the 3500 block of Cobblestone Ter. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender broke vehicle side window and stole a GPS, firearm and currency.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 9 p.m. March 17, police responded to the 300 block of Woodbine St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole toolbox containing tools from an unsecured vehicle.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 10 p.m. March 20, police responded to the 5100 block of Plaza Drive for a reported larceny.Unknown offender stole chainsaws from truck bed.

- Robbery/Commercial: At 3:45 a.m. March 16, police responded to the 3300 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported robbery. Unknown masked offender with shot gun robbed business of cash and fled.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3 p.m. March 17, police were dispatched to headquarters for a reported vandalism that occurred in the 400 block of S. 21st Ave. Unknown offender keyed vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8:30 a.m. March 17, police responded to the 100 block of Terminal St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged vehicle, breaking trim.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6 p.m. March 20, police responded to the 2400 block of Lynchburg St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:30 p.m. March 20, police responded to the 3300 block of Sherwood Lane for a reported hit and run. Unknown offender damaged vehicle rear view mirror but it was determined not be a hit and run.
