Towanda teen faces drug charges
Darren Michael Casselbury, 19, of Towanda has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
The charges were filed on March 26, 2014, according to records of the Towanda District Court.
The charges stem from an incident which occurred on May 17, 2012 at the Northern Tier Career Center in North Towanda Township, where Casselbury was a student, police said.
At the time, Casselbury was in possession of one gram of marijuana and a pipe, state police at Towanda said.
Casselbury has been sent a summons which orders him to appear before Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on May 2.
Sayre man accused of drug dealing
Jon Carlton Sisson, 23, of Sayre has been charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, police said.
The charges stem from three incidents in which Sisson sold drugs to an individual on Second Street in Towanda, police said.
During two of the incidents, which occurred on June 26, 2013 and Jan. 30, 2014, Sisson sold a total of 38 pills containing oxycodone, which is a derivative of opium, state police said.
During the third incident, which occurred on July 26, 2013, Sisson sold 10 pills containing dihydrocodeinone, which is a controlled substance, police said.
Sisson has been sent a summons which orders him to appear before Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on May 9.
Corruption of minors investigated
State police at Towanda said they are investigating a corruption of minors incident involving a 16-year-old female victim and someone known to her that took place from the beginning of this year to the present in Canton Township.
Car door damaged
A 32-year-old Bath, N.Y. man told state police at Towanda that a door on his car was damaged while it was parked sometime between 3 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 19 at a residence on Mud Creek Road in Troy Township.
Police said they are continuing to investigate.
Paint on trunk damaged
A 27-year-old Columbia Cross Roads woman told state police at Towanda that the paint on the trunk lid of her vehicle was damaged while it was parked sometime between 10 p.m. March 17 and 6 a.m. March 18 at a residence on Calaman Lane at Kerry View Mobile Home Park in Columbia Township.
Fuel taken
A 19-year-old Troy woman told state police at Towanda that fuel was siphoned from her vehicle sometime between March 19-20 on Windfall Road in Canton Township.
Police said no suspects can be linked to the investigation at this time. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police at (570) 265-2186.
People cited
State police at Towanda said Anthony Steenberge, 21, of Columbia Cross Roads, and Brittany Steenberge, 22, of Bellefonte, were cited with harassment for an incident that took place sometime between 11 p.m. March 12 and 3 a.m. March 13 on Sawyer Road in Springfield Township.
According to police, they both engaged in a verbal argument with each other that turned physical.
Brittany Steenberge alleged that Anthony Steenberge pushed her, slapped her, and choked her, police said. Police said Anthony Steenberge claims that Brittany Steenberge threw a candle at him, striking him in the back, and hit him on both arms with a pair of pliers.
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Philip Eugene Frisbie, 36, of Ulster, by the state police, on March 8, on South Main Street in Towanda Township.
Tyler Jeryd Fenton, 19, of Sugar Run, by the Towanda Borough police, on March 1, on Main Street in Towanda. A test revealed that Fenton's blood alcohol content was .112 percent on the day of his arrest.
