The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.
- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 1:36 a.m. June 1, police responded to the 100 block of N. Marion Ave. in reference to suspicious activity. Juvenile offenders attempted to enter residence to speak with juvenile and were arrested.
- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 4 p.m. June 1, police were called to the 400 block of N. 3rd Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence by forcing window and stole shoes, tablet, change and debit card.
- Counterfeiting/Forgery: At 8:09 p.m. May 27, police responded to the 5200 block of Plaza Drive in regards to counterfeit money. Known offenders attempted to use counterfeit money and were later arrested.
- Drug Equipment Violations: At 9:46 a.m. May 28, police responded to the 800 block of E. Poythress St. for a reported assault. Known offender head-butted victim and was arrested. During arrest, offender was found to be in possession of drug equipment.
- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 12:41 a.m. May 26, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Arlington Road. Passenger was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.
- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6:55 a.m. May 26, police responded to the 400 block of Randolph Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole cell phone.
- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6 p.m. May 26, police responded to the 200 block of N. Mesa Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered locked porch by ripping screen to unlocked door and stole bicycle.
- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 11:57 a.m. May 29, police responded to the headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 100 block of Cavalier Square. Unknown offender stole wallet from business. Wallet later recovered missing cash.
- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 5 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 1400 block of Pine Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole an air conditioner from a vacant residence.
- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 9 p.m. May 31, police responded to the 1500 block of Piper Square for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole debit card.
- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12:29 p.m. June 1, police responded to the 3300 block of Woodlawn St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole a metal bench from a yard.
- Larceny-Shoplifting: At 5:27 p.m. May 26, police responded to the 3900 block of Oaklawn Blvd. in regards to a shoplifter. Known offender stole alcohol from business and was arrested.
- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 1:45 p.m. May 29, police responded to the 1000 block of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported larceny. Known offender stole a laptop from a class room. Laptop later recovered. Petitions pending.
- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 2:32 p.m. May 31, police responded to the 300 block of E. Broadway for a reported larceny. Known offender stole two cell phones from business. Both phones later recovered. Petitions pending.
- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 8:30 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 1100 block of Plant St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender cut wire fence, cut padlock off truck and stole 300 pounds of copper wire.
- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 8:53 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 400 block of S. Mesa Drive in reference to a larceny. Offenders were observed entering an unsecured vehicle and a debit card was found missing. Petitions pending.
- Robbery/Commercial: 3:15 a.m. June 1, police responded to the 2300 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported robbery. Lone armed and masked offender robbed business of cash.
- Stalking: At 9:30 p.m. May 29, police responded to headquarters for reported threats and harassment in the 2400 block of Boston St. Offender was found to be talking the victim and was arrested.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 7:14 p.m. May 29, police responded to the 700 block of E. Randolph Road for a reported assault. Offender assaulted victim by hitting and was arrested. During the altercations, a cell phone was damaged.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6:06 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 1000 block of Langston Park Drive for a reported vandalism. Known offenders broke bulldozer windows with rocks. Petitions pending.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6:45 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 500 block of S. 22nd Ave. for a reported vandalism. Known offenders damaged vehicle by throwing rocks. Petitions pending.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 300 block of W. Cawson St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged fence.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 4:30 p.m. May 30, police responded to the 2700 block of Courthouse Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender tipped portable toilet. Damaging it.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:23 p.m. May 31, police responded to the 2400 block of Norfolk St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged residential siding by throwing rock.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:30 p.m. May 31, police responded to the 2200 block of Norfolk St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged residential siding by throwing rock.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:35 a.m. June 1, police responded to the 300 block of S. 14th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Known offender broke vehicle window with a propane cylinder.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:30 a.m. June 1, police responded to the 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender scratched vehicle.
- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 p.m. June 1, police responded to the 4000 block of Jamestown Drive for a reported disturbance. Unknown offender damaged a parked vehicle. Several subjects were in the area and were detained.
- Vandalism/Graffiti: At 12 a.m. May 31, police responded to the 200 block of E. Cawson St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender spray-painted the side of a building.
- Weapon Law Offenses: At 3:12 p.m. May 26, police responded to the 100 block of S. 4th Ave. for a report of shots fired. Known offenders fired shots at a residence, damaging the structure and was later arrested.
