Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently pled guilty and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

Sheila Bump, 43, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced to two days and court costs. Trooper Michael Tribendis of the Pennsylvania State Police cited Bump for the offense on May 3, 2014, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Towanda Township.

Tiffany Rose, 25, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to 40 hours of community service and court costs. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Rose for the offense on Jan. 22, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Paraphernalia that occurred in Athens Borough.

Rex Peters, 24, Laceyville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to 18 days in jail plus restitution in the amount of $179 and court costs. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Peters for the offense in March, following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Jeremy Roberson, 29, Elmira, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 10 days and court costs.

Officer Rich Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Roberson for the offense on May 17, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Controlled Substance that occurred in Athens Township.

Lacey Benson, 24, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $200, and court costs. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Benson for the offense on April 25, 2014, following investigation of a Disorderly Conduct that occurred in Canton Borough.

Derren Killian, 19, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense, and was sentenced to 27 days and court costs. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Killian for the offense on May 1, 2014, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Canton Borough.

Chelsea Cole, 29, Waverly, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to two days and court costs.

Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Cole for the offense on March 4, 2014, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia that occurred in Athens Township.

Ashley Joiner, 26, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced to 14 days and court costs. Officer Daniel Thomas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Joiner for the offense on April 23, 2014, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Athens Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Matthew Claxton, 43, Athens, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from seven months to 36 months and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Claxton following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Thomas Latini, 58, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for 36 months and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Latini following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Brian Cole, 40, Rome, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 10 days to 36 months and a fine of $1500; he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cole following investigation of an incident that occurred in Windham Township.

Hilary Brewster, 51, Binghamton, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 90 days to 36 months and a fine of $1500; he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brewster following investigation of an incident that occurred in Stevens Township.

Morgan Gardner, 25, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 72 hours to six months, followed by Probation for a term of 12 months and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor and Possession of a Controlled Substance, also a misdemeanor. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Gardner following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Maryann E. Matthews, 36, Elmira, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Matthews will be sentenced on July 14, 2014. Officer Steven Andrews of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Matthews for the offense in February 2014.

Kacee M. Allen, 20, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Allen was immediately sentenced to pay a fine of $100 and to pay restitution of $1000.

Officer Michael Northrup of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Allen for the offense in April 2014.

Christopher G. Carlisle, 25, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Carlisle will be sentenced on July 10, 2014. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Carlisle for the offense in March 2014.

Arthur G. Bidlack, 39, Barton, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Bidlack will be sentenced on July 14, 2014. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Bidlack for the offense.

Mark Brundage, 29, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of two counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, each a misdemeanor, one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, a misdemeanor of the second degree; one count of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree; and one count of Public Drunkenness, a summary offense. Officer Andrew Stevens, Officer Nikki Hoffman both of the Athens Borough Police Department, and Sergeant James Shaw from Athens Township Police Department, all arrested Brundage for the offenses in February, March and April 2014.

Patti Jo Benjamin, 42, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a felony. Benjamin will be sentenced on July 14, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Benjamin following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Jason Nogar, 32, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Nogar will be sentenced on July 14, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Matthew Knock of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Nogar following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Township.

Lee Hatch, 25, Friendsville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor and Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Hatch will be sentenced on July 28, 2014. Trooper Michael Tereska of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hatch following investigation of an incident that occurred in Windham Township.

John O'Mara, 29, Laceyville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. O'Mara will be sentenced on July 14, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested O'Mara following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Borough.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Joy C. Lingenfelter, 46, Reynoldsville, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Lingenfelter will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Lingenfelter must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel. Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lingenfelter for the offense.

Nathan L. Earle, 25, Canton, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Earle will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department; which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Earle must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Quentin Reinford of the Troy Borough Police Department filed the charges in January 2014.

John McGeehan, 22, Dushore, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation McGeehan will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, McGeehan must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Matthew Knock of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested McGeehan for the offense.

Michael J. Voight, 28, Ulster, Pa., charged with the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of six months. While on Probation Voight will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department; which supervision will include monitoring for drug and alcohol use. Additionally, Voight must perform community service. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Voight for the offense.

Louise Anne Clegg, 48, Canton, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol was accepted into the ARD Program and place on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Clegg will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Clegg must perform community service. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Clegg for the offense.

John M. Rizzuto, 18, Port Matilda, Pa., charged with the offense of Possession of Marijuana, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Rizzuto will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Rizzuto must perform 40 hours of community service. Officer Joshua Heckman, of the Canton Borough Police Department, filed the charges in January 2014.

Mindy M. Hobbie, 35, Sayre, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Hobbie will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Hobbie must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges in February 2014.

Suddenly M. Wadlington, 39, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Wadlington will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Wadlington must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wadlington for the offense.

Timothy J. Bailey, 34, Pine City, N.Y., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Bailey will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Bailey must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper Michael Trebendis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bailey for the offense.

George M. Whyte, 49, Monroeton, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Whyte will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Whyte must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Whyte for the offense.
