Hopewell Crime for Aug. 9

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Commercial: At 8:30 p.m. July 30, police were dispatched to the 300 block of Cavalier Square for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered business by breaking window and stole jewelry.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 10 a.m. July 28, police responded to the 2400 block of City Point Road for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered the residence by possibly using a hide-a-key and stole cash.

- Drug Equipment Violations: At 2:40 p.m. July 31, police located two wanted subjects in the 2300 block of Atlantic St. Both subjects were found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 4:50 p.m. Aug. 3, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 5000 block of Oaklawn Blvd. Passenger was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 600 block of Cedar level Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole lawnmower from residential yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 7 a.m. July 30, police responded to the 2300 block of Dellrose Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole weight benches and weights from rear yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 9:30 p.m. July 30, police responded to the 300 block of N. 5th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole a bicycle from rear yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 1 p.m. July 31, police responded to the 2100 block of City Point Road in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender was observed stealing bicycle.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6 p.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 200 block of N. 14th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole washing machine and dryer from residential porch.

- Larceny-Shoplifting: At 12 a.m. July 30, police responded to the 900 block of Colonial Corner Drive for a reported shoplifting. Known offender stole food from business and was arrested.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 4:59 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 100 block of Cavalier Square for a reported larceny. Known offender attempted to steal a TV, floor cleaner and detergent from business and was arrested.

- Larceny-theft From Motor Vehicle: At 9:45 p.m. July 31, police responded to the 300 block of S. 20th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole a debit card from an unsecured vehicle.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 9:30 a.m. Aug. 1, police responded to headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 200 block of Cavalier Square. Unknown offender entered unlocked vehicle and stole purse containing debit cards, cash and jewelry.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Stolen Auto: At 8 p.m. July 28, police responded to headquarters for a reported larceny in the 1000 block of Maplewood Ave. Unknown offender stole vehicle by unknown means.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Stolen Auto: At 2:10 p.m. Aug. 3, police responded to the 1200 block of Sunnyside Ave. for a suspicious vehicle. Known juvenile offender stole vehicle from Auto Sales with previous owner's key. Vehicle recovered undamaged. Petitions pending.

- Tampering With Vehicle: At 11:30 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 700 block of Blackstone Ave. for a reported tampering with a vehicle. Unknown offender entered unlocked vehicle and moved items around. Nothing stolen.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 2:10 a.m. July 28, police were called to the 200 block of Cavalier Square for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke commercial front door.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 5 p.m. July 28, police responded tot he the 3700 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender slashed vehicle tires.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8:20 p.m. July 31, police responded to the 1400 block of S. 9th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender scratched vehicle rear quarter panel.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8:20 p.m. July 31, police responded to the 1400 block of Sunnyside Ave. for a reported assault. Known offender threw knife at victim, missing and dented vehicle with broom. Offender was arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3:40 a.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 800 block of S. 15th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Two unknown offenders broke commercial front door glass. No entry made.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12:10 a.m. Aug. 1, police responded tot he 2500 block of Courthouse Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender caved in vehicle roof and broke side mirror.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 a.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 1100 block of Arlington Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12:30 a.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 2400 block of Raleigh St. for a reported accident. Known offender drove while intoxicated, hit a residence, was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested. No injuries.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:30 p.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 600 block of E. Broadway in reference to shots fired. Unknown offender shot into residence, damaging a door and fled. No injuries.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 4 a.m. Aug. 3, police responded to the 2100 block of Hazelwood Ave. for a reported vandalism. Offender broke vehicle window.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 2:20 a.m. July 31, police were called to the 3000 block of Boston St. for a reported shot fired. Unknown offender shot at residence. No injuries.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 11:58 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 2600 block of Maple Street for a reported shots fired. During argument, known offender fired shot into the air and was arrested. No injuries.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 10:12 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 3300 block of Boston St. for a reported weapon offenses. Unknown offender shot into residence, hitting a/c unit. No injuries.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 3 a.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 1100 block of Sunnyside Ave. for reported shots fired. During argument, unknown offender fired shots while fleeing. No injuries.
