Beginning on July 2, an unknown male has been entering several churches throughout Chesterfield County. Surveillance footage revealed the man taking unattended purses. The thief has also been seen stealing purses out of vehicles in church parking lots. The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35 years old. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts, a white T-shirt and a white baseball cap. Exterior cameras show the man leaving the area in a white Hyundai Sonata.
