No one injured

State police at Towanda said no one was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 13 on Route 14 in South Creek Township.

Police said the driver, Faye M. Spencer, 43, of Canton, and her juvenile passenger, also from Canton, were not injured.

According to police, the crash occurred as she was traveling south, and a deer ran into the roadway from the southbound berm. Her Dodge Caliber struck the deer, causing disabling front end damage.

The South Creek Township Fire Police and Junior's Towing assisted at the scene.

Driver taken into custody

State police at Towanda said a 35-year-old Horseheads, N.Y. man, who police did not identify, showed signs of intoxication in a DUI crash at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 8 on Route 549, approximately ½ mile north of Eighmey Road, in Wells Township, and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

Police said the man, who was driving a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan, was transported to Memorial Hospital in Towanda for a legal blood draw. The vehicle, which was silver in color, had disabling damage.

Police said the man lost control of the vehicle, which exited the east shoulder of the roadway, traveled up an embankment, rolled onto its driver's side, and came to final rest on its wheels, facing north.

Police said the driver was not injured.
