Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Damian Saxbury, 21, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, and a fine of $1000, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Saxbury for the offense on April 4, 2014.

Claude Aumick, 28, Rome, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 14 months to 60 months and a fine of $2500; he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Aumick for the offense on Sept. 13, 2014.

Robert Bump, 39, Monroeton, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days and a fine of $500 and restitution of $330, County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months, he will also lose his driver's license for six months for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Bump following investigation of an incident that occurred in Bradford County.

Miranda Hamilton, 23, of Sugar Run, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months, 15 days to 18 months, and a fine of $1200, she will also lose her driver's license for 12 months, for the offenses of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Hamilton following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Township.

Jenna Hart, 24, Towanda, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to costs and restitution of $500 and Probation for a term of 24 months for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Hart for the offense on Aug. 19, 2013.

Cathleen Roberts, 54, Owego, N.Y., was sentenced to fines of $500 and Probation for a term of 24 months; she will also lose her driver's license for six months for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Roberts for the offense on April 28, 2014.

Christopher Quintana, 25, of Rome, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 105 days to six months and fines of $1900, Probation for a term of 12 months, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree, Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Disorderly Conduct a misdemeanor of the third degree and Harassment, a summary offense. Trooper Mark Sadowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Quintana following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.

Michael Karge, 64, of Troy, Pa., was sentenced to fines, costs, restitution for a term of six months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Karge for the offense in June 28, 2008.

Timothy Mosier, 27, of New Albany, Pa., was resentenced following a revocation of probation to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for one month to nine months and fines of $300 and Probation for a term of three months for the offense of Disorderly Conduct and Harassment. Trooper Michael Moser of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Mosier following investigation of an incident that occurred in New Albany Township.

Timothy Mosier, 27, of New Albany, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of probation to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two months to 12 months and fines of $2000 for the offense of Criminal Conspiracy and, Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Trooper Michael Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Mosier following investigation of an incident that occurred on Franklin Township.

Nicholas Fennell, 28, of Canton, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months and fines of $1000, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Fennell for the offense on May 18, 2014.

James Swick, 28, of Masontown, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 13 days to 12 months and a fine of $500, for the offense of Resisting Arresting, misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Swick for the offense on May 26, 2012.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Joseph Maynard, 56, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Maynard will be sentenced Dec. 11, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Maynard for the offense on Feb. 19, 2014.

William Gleason, 50, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to four counts of Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Gleason will be sentenced in January, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department and a report by the Pennsylvania Sex Offender Assessment Board.

Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Gleason following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.

Robert McGrath, 34, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Public Drunkenness, a summary offense. McGrath will be sentenced Dec. 4, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested McGrath for the offense on June 28, 2014.

David Watkins, 34, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Watkins will be sentenced Dec. 4, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Watkins for the offense in May 2014.

Jason Ragan, 24, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Ragan will be sentenced Dec. 4, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Ragan for the offense on April 30, 2014.

William Lafritz, 44, Gillett, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Unsworn Falsification, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Lafritz will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Jeffrey Sredenschek of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lafritz following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township on Jan. 30, 2014.

William Keene, 35, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Keene will be sentenced Nov. 24, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Keene for the offense on May 23, 2014.

Claude Aumick, 28, Rome, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Aumick will be sentenced 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Aumick for the offense on Sept. 13, 2014.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Michael Tappan, 48, Nichols, N.Y., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Tappan will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Tappan must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges on July 1, 2014 for the offense in Sayre Borough.

Frederick Ringler, 53, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Ringler will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Ringler must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ringler for the offense on April 25, 2014 in Monroeton Borough.

Danielle Overpeck, 42, Waverly, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Overpeck will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Overpeck must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Overpeck for the offense on May 18, 2014, in Towanda Township.

Kristin Brennan, 58, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Brennan will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Brennan must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brennan for the offense on June 20, 2014 in Athens Township.

Bradford County District Attorney, Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following person(s) recently entered a plea of Nolo Contendere in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Kyle Chapman, 25, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense. Chapman will be sentenced on Dec. 4, 2014, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Sergeant James Shaw of the Sayre Police Department arrested Chapman for the offense in April following noise complaints.
