Towanda man charged with selling drug

Timothy John Bailey, 35, of Towanda has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

The charges stem from an incident on Sept. 12, 2013 in which Bailey is accused of selling 20 Percocet pills to an individual at a location in Towanda Borough, police said.

Bailey was arraigned on the charges on Oct. 27, 2014 before Athens Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw.

Bailey's preliminary hearing, which was originally scheduled to take place on Nov. 5, 2014 in Towanda District Court, has been postponed to Nov. 14.

Towanda woman charged with violating Megan's Law

Katrina Louise Morse, 26, of Towanda is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 20 in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas on a charge of violating Megan's Law, police said.

Morse had moved out of her apartment in Towanda in September. Towanda police said. The date she moved out was on Sept. 10 or Sept. 15, police said. Towanda police said that as of Oct. 6, they had not determined where she was living.

Morse was charged on Oct. 6 with failure to comply with the registration requirements of sexual offenders, police said.

Morse was arraigned by Athens Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on Oct. 10. Morse was then sent to the Bradford County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Morse waived her preliminary hearing, scheduled for Oct. 29 in Towanda District Court.

Wysox male charged with theft

Joshua Robert Woodruff, 20, of Wysox is accused of stealing a Nintendo DS Game System from a residence on Front Street in New Albany, police said.

The theft of the game system, valued at $130, occurred around Sept. 15, police said.

Woodruff has been charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property, police said.

Woodruff has been sent a summons which orders him to appear before Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Nov. 12.

DUI charges

The following person was recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

- Michael J. Power, 40, of Rome, by the Towanda police, on Oct. 17 on Main Street in Towanda. Power exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication. Power was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
