People charged for harassment
State police at Towanda said Asia Nero, 19, and Nicholas Decker, 20, both of Gillett were charged with harassment in District Court 42-3-01 following an incident that occurred July 11 at the Wellsburg Dandy Mini Mart in Ridgebury Township.
Police said Nero struck Decker in the face, and Decker subsequently threw a bottle at Nero.
Credit card stolen
A 40-year-old Dallas, Ga. woman told state police at Towanda that someone stole a credit card from her vehicle July 5 at the Tops Market parking lot in Troy Township.
Police said they are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact the Towanda station at (570) 265-2186.
People charged with criminal mischief
State police at Towanda said four people were charged with criminal mischief after they hit several golf balls at the residence of a 49-year-old woman June 22 on Thompson Hill Road, South Creek Township, causing damage.
Police said those charged were David Mayo, 24, of Sayre; Brandon Frisbie, 19, of Gillett; Adam Heasley, 27, of Gillett; and Christopher Heasley, 24, of Gillett.
Manager of Wysox Dollar General charged with theft
Lisa Marie Perry of Sayre is accused of stealing from the Dollar General store in Wysox Township while she served as the store's manager, police said.
Perry, 43, has been charged with the first-degree misdemeanor of theft by deception, court records show.
Perry created fraudulent returns of an $8 grill and overrode the price to be higher, police said.
She used the grill to refund prices four separate times, with values of $99.00, $99.99, and $51.00 two other times, police said.
Perry then used the refunded money to obtain cell phones and pre-paid phone cards for the phones, state police said.
The thefts occurred on June 27, state police said.
Perry's whereabouts are unknown at this time, the state police at Towanda said in a press release that they issued on Monday.
The theft by deception charge was filed Monday in Wysox District Court.
Towanda man pleads guilty to disorderly conduct
David Edmund Northrup, 50, of Towanda recently pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show.
The charges stem from a June 22 incident in which he threatened a neighbor and tried to kick in her front door, police said.
Northrup was given credit for the 11 days' of jail time he had already served and no further sentence was imposed, according to the Towanda District Court.
Monroeton man charged with violation of Megan's Law
Shawn McKean, 27, of Monroeton was recently charged with failure to comply with his Megan's Law registration requirements, police said.
McKean failed to arrive at the state police's Towanda barracks to verify his information during a designated 10-day time period in June, state police explained.
Rome woman victim of $7K theft
A 61-year-old Rome woman was the victim of a $7,000 theft, police said.
Someone had four unauthorized transactions occur on her bank account at the M&T Bank in North Towanda Township, which resulted in a loss of $7,000, police said.
The transactions occurred between April and July, state police said.
State police at Towanda said they are continuing to investigate the theft.
Two Wysox Twp. residents charged in domestic dispute
Hila Lee Strope, 45, and Issac Leroy Strope, 60, both of Wysox have been charged with simple assault and harassment relating to a July 17 incident at their residence in Wysox township.
According to police, Issac Strope struck Hila Strope multiple times in the face and kicked her while she was on the ground in the back and sides which caused bruising, swelling and cuts. Police also said Hila Strope struck Issac Strope in the head with an ashtray, causing swelling and a cut above his left eye. She also scratched the right side of his neck, police said.
Hila Strope was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was found with 30 Alprazolam pills and a Methylphenidate pill along with a plastic pill crusher. Police said Hila Strope could not produce a prescription for the medication.
Both individuals were arraigned before Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark on July 18 and were remanded to the Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000.
Both are scheduled to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on July 23 for a preliminary hearing.
DUI Charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Thomas Andrew Craven, 47, of Scranton, by state police, on July 6, on State Route 6 in Tuscarora Township. Craven was also charged with operating a vehicle without a valid license, operating a motor vehicle as a classified habitual offender, driving in the left lane of a no passing zone, careless driving, and failure to use a seat belt.
Police said Craven is a classified habitual offender whose license was suspended until well after August 6, 2054.
According to police, Craven's blood alcohol content was .053 percent on the night of his arrest.
Craven has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on Sept. 3 for a preliminary hearing.
Randy Scot Knolles, 39, of Laceyville, by state police, on July 17, on State Route 6 in Wyalusing Township.
Knolles was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, failure to back up safely and careless driving.
According to police, Knolles possessed five Alprazolam pills and 109 Clonazepam pills without a valid prescription. Police said Knolles failed to complete a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest shortly after, and is suspected to have been under the influence of drugs while driving.
Farm business burglarized in Tuscarora Twp.
According to police, an unknown person stole two skid steer tires, a generator, a gasoline engine and blades from Parys Farm Equipment in Tuscarora Township between July 26 and July 27.

Burglary investigation in Wyalusing
An unknown person stole a 19" TV, Compaq and Dell laptop computers, a camera, diamond earrings and necklaces and golf balls from 2934 Route 706 in Wyalusing Township on July 24 between 3:15 p.m. and 6 p.m..
The burglar fled out of the rear door in an unknown direction, police said.
