Siding damaged in Smithfield

Towanda state police said on April 11 at about 9 p.m., two juveniles and one adult male damaged the siding of 54-year-old Matthew Delauro's residence on Water Street in Smithfield Township.

Police said the males were throwing paintballs at one another at the neighboring residence which led to the damage.

Delauro decided not to press charges against the males, police said.

Child endangered in Athens Township

A 4-year-old girl was left alone with a Tier 3 Sexual Offender on March 19 between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., Towanda state police said.

According to police, the 26-year-old male suspect left the child alone with the sex offender and police are investigating the incident.

DUI crash occurs in Sheshequin

Jonathan Hutchins, 20, of Waverly, crashed a vehicle on Sheshequin Road on April 1 at about 8:30 p.m. after driving under the influence of alcohol, Towanda state police said.

Police said Hutchins lost control of the vehicle and subsequently struck a guard rail and two trees.
