DUI charges filed
Becca Louise Morgan, 23, of Troy, is accused in a DUI incident that took place at 8:02 p.m. March 28 on Evans Road, just north of the intersection with State Route 514, in Granville Township, said state police at Towanda.
While on patrol, Trooper William McDermott observed a 2003 Ford Taurus stopped on the travel lane of Evans Road in Granville Township. He saw the operator of the vehicle seated in the driver's seat, with the engine running, the headlamps illuminated, and the hazard lamps activated. Upon further investigation, the operator displayed several indicators of intoxication/impairment and was determined to be driving under the influence, police said.
Police said charges were filed on Morgan through District Court 42-3-01.
Man suffers minor injury
State police at Towanda said Glenn E. Guthrie III, 31, of Smithfield, had a minor injury in a crash that took place at 3:20 a.m. April 7 on Route 6 in Burlington Township.
According to police, the crash occurred as he was traveling east along Route 6 and for an unknown reason, he lost control of his Freightliner. Police said it struck a guardrail and a street sign before traveling down an embankment and striking multiple trees before coming to final rest.
Police said he was charged with a violation of "roadways laned for traffic."
Criminal mischief occurs in Franklin Twp.
Sometime between April 3 and April 10, someone using a motor vehicle tore up the lawn of a 71-year-old Franklin Township resident on Mountain Road, police said.

Towanda man charged with criminal mischief
On Wednesday, 25-year-old Francis Eugene McKean of Towanda kicked in the door of a residence in Wysox Township, according to the state police at Towanda.
He kicked in the door because 21-year-old Sarah Lee McKean, who lives in the residence, refused to answer the door, police said.
As a result of this incident, there was damage to the door frame, and Francis McKean is being charged with criminal mischief, police said.
Wysox man cited for disorderly conduct
Joshua Marquise Coley, 23, of Wysox has been cited for the summary offense of disorderly conduct following an incident on Wednesday in Wysox Township, police said.
During the incident, Coley made several threats to 26-year-old Erma Louise McKean of Wysox in a public area, according to the state police at Towanda.
Monroeton male uninjured in a crash
Markesh T. Woleslagle, 20, of Monroeton was uninjured Tuesday when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on state Route 87 in Washington Township, Wyoming County, state police said.
Woleslagle was traveling south on Route 87 at 10:15 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the northbound lane and struck a drainage ditch, state police at Tunkhannock said.
