Police investigating reckless endangerment report
According to a press release from state police, a unnamed 30-year-old man from Rome is suspected of discharging a firearm on property belonging to Martha A. Shuman, 52, of Rome between 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 7.
Police said the incident occurred at 751 Merry Go Round Road in Windham Township and they are continuing to investigate.
DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
- Briyarna Jade Mountfield-Fisher, 18, of Athens, by Sayre Borough Police, on July 24, on South Keystone Avenue in Sayre Borough. Mountfield-Fisher has also been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A blood test later revealed Mountfield-Fisher's blood alcohol content to be .193 percent on the day of her arrest, as well as the presence of marijuana and cocaine in Mountfield-Fisher's blood. Mountfield-Fisher has been issued a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Sept. 11 for her preliminary hearing.
- William Keith Frisbie, 45, of Sayre, by Athens Township Police, on Elmira Street in Athens Township. A blood alcohol test later revealed Frisbie's blood alcohol content to be .192 percent on the day of his arrest. Frisbie has been issued a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Sept. 11 for his preliminary hearing.
