Drug charges

SHAMOKIN - Tina M. Moyle, 41, of 425 N. Shamokin St., Apt. 1-4, Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with possession of Oxycodone and possession of drug paraphernalia relating to a Sept. 25 incident at her home.

Police said Moyle was found in possession of a clear plastic baggie containing 31 Oxycodone pills.

DUI charges

SHAMOKIN - Cpl. Jarrod Scandle has charged Allen Michael James, 25, of 1200 Chemung St., Coal Township, with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and driving with an expired inspection sticker.

The charges relate to an Aug. 14 traffic stop at Orange and Independence streets.

Police said James had a blood-alcohol content of .176 percent.

DUI

COAL TOWNSHIP - Nicholas C. Elliott, 22, of 186 Main St., Locust Gap, was charged by Patrolman Edward Purcell with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, a stop sign violation and restriction on alcoholic beverages relating to a Sept. 13 incident at Water and Second streets in Ranshaw.

Police said Elliott had a blood-alcohol content of .193 percent.

Possesses Spice

SHAMOKIN - Benjamin Jeremiah, 19, of 1141 W. State St., Coal Township, was charged by Cpl. Jarrod Scandle with possession of a small amount of Spice and public drunkenness relating to a Sept. 17 incident on Terrace Avenue.

DUI

SHAMOKIN - Brian Elliott Jr., 24, of 201 S. Shamokin St., Shamokin, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Siko II with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, texting while driving and operating a vehicle without proper inspection.

The charges relate to an Oct. 1 incident at Market and Spruce streets.

Access device fraud

SHAMOKIN - State police at Stonington reported someone removed cash Monday night from an ATM at Turkey Hill Minit Market on Lincoln Street by using bank information belonging to Amanda Hine, of Upper Road, Shamokin.

Police said the incident occurred at about 10:45 p.m.
