Woman charged in one-vehicle crash

Kerri A. Butler, 26, of New Albany has been charged with driving too fast for conditions after an Aug. 23 single-vehicle accident on state Route 706 in Wyalusing Township.

According to police, Butler approached a left-hand curve in her 1999 Chevrolet Lumina while traveling too fast and crashed.

Police said Butler struck a curb and then struck a small tree before coming to a rest.

Butler was not injured during the incident

DUI Charges

The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

Matthew James Deputy, 24, of Towanda, by state police, on Aug. 2, on state Route 6 just east of state Route 187 in Wysox Township.

Deputy has also been charged with driving without a motorcycle license, speeding, driving without proper protective equipment, careless driving and reckless driving.

Police said on the night of his arrest Deputy had a blood alcohol content of .231 percent.

Deputy's arrest stems from a two-vehicle accident that occurred after he was unable to stop before striking a vehicle in front of him on state Route 6.

Deputy has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on Oct. 8 for a preliminary hearing.

Kyle Thomas Repsher, 24, of Laceyville, by state police, on Aug. 24, on state Route 706 in Wyalusing Borough.

Repsher has also been charged with driving with a suspended license, speeding and careless driving.

Police said on the night of his arrest Repsher had a blood alcohol content of .138 percent.

Repsher has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on Oct. 1 for a preliminary hearing.
