OLD FORGE POLICE: No report was available at press time:

 

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to 75 calls between June 3-9.

On June 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue. A report of a student in possession of a knife sent officers to Riverside West Elementary School. Officers also responded to investigate a harassment complaint in a home in the 1200 block of Loomis Avenue.

On June 4, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported retail theft in the Walmart on Main Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to the area of Fourth and Oak streets. Offices also responded to investigate a harassment complaint in the 4100 block of South Keyser Avenue.

On June 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Powell Street. A harassment complaint sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Union Street.

On June 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1300 block of South Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment by communications complaint in the 100 block of South Ridge Street. A motor vehicle stop yielded an arrest for possession of a controlled substance.

On June 7, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 1200 block of Reynolds Avenue. A dispute between neighbors sent officers to the 1000 block of Oak Street. Officers also responded to Pyne Freight to investigate a trespassing and theft complaint.

On June 8, officers were dispatched to assist the fire department in the 400 block of South Main Street.

On June 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of open burning on Storrs Street. Officers also responded to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Linwood Lane.

 

MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 200 calls between May 26 and June 8.

On May 26, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported domestic dispute in a home in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. A reported highway hazard sent officers to the 3300 block of Birney Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of public intoxication in the 300 block of Main Street. A retail theft sent officers to the Kmart on Birney Avenue.

On May 27, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run accident in the 1000 block of Shoppes Boulevard. A theft complaint sent officers to the 200 block of Thoreau Drive. Officers were dispatched to investigate a trespassing complaint in the 500 block of Orchard Street.

On May 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft complaint in the Birney Plaza. An activated alarm sent officers to the 400 block of Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4700 block of Birney Avenue. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

On May 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of Pittston Avenue. A dispute between a landlord and a tenant sent officers to a home in the 1000 block of Springbrook Avenue. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Montage Mountain Road.

On May 30, officers were dispatched to investigate an abandoned vehicle at Terry’s Diner on Birney Avenue. Officers assisted emergency medical services (EMS) with a call in the 300 block of Montage Mountain Road.

On May 31, officers were dispatched to investigate a bike theft in the 3700 block of Birney Avenue. a report of juveniles causing a problem sent officers to the 500 block of Main Street. A similar call sent officers to the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.

On June 1, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated burglar alarm at the Shoppes at Montage. Officers also assisted EMS with calls in the 500 block of Minooka Avenue and the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.

On June 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. A report of an erratic driver sent officers to the 4000 block of Birney Avenue. Officers responded to the 3800 block of Birney Avenue.

On June 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Rocky Glen Road. An activated alarm sent officers to a home on Radciffe Drive.

On June 4, no police activity was reported.

On June 5, officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Birney Avenue and Stone Street. A fraud complaint sent officers to the 500 block of Fassold Street. Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the intersection of Walnut and Spring streets.

On June 6, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in a home on Steinback Drive. Officers assisted Taylor police with a call in the intersection of Keyser and Sibley avenues. A report of a found dog sent officers to the 3600 block of Wylam Drive. Officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check inside a home in the 400 block of Main Street. A motor vehicle crash sent officers to the 4200 block of Birney Avenue.

On June 7, no police activity was reported.

On June 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of suspicious men in the 400 block of Fourth Street. A harassment complaint sent officers to the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. Officers also responded to investigate a criminal mischief complaint in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.
