Wayne and PIke County Sentences 12/8/2013

The following were sentenced by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:

- Eileen DiCarlo, 52, Newfoundland, 12 months' probation and $300 fine retail theft on Sept. 11, 2012, in Greene Twp.

- Joseph Oszmanski, 52, Milford, six to 23½ months in the county prison, $500 fine and $9,810.36 in restitution for simple assault on July 11 in Dingman Twp.

- Sandra Cohen, 54, Milford, nine months to five years in a state correctional facility, $3,000 fine and 24 months' driver's license suspension for DUI on Oct. 5, 2012, and Feb. 6 in Blooming Grove Twp.

- Paul Bertino, 23, of State College, 114 days to 23 months in the county prison followed by 24 months' probation and $500 fine for criminal attempt to hinder apprehension or prosecution between Oct. 26 and Nov. 3, 2012.

- Bianca Sabogal, 24, Middletown, N.Y., 12 months' probation and $300 fine for recklessly endangering another person on July 31, 2011.

- Hope Lynch, 42, Milford, eight months to three years in a state correctional facility and $500 fine for simple assault, resisting arrest and public drunkennes on Aug. 24 in Milford.

The following were sentenced by Wayne County President Judge Raymond L. Hamill:

- Jeremy J. Box, 28, Honesdale, 10 to 20 years in a state correctional facility for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse between Dec. 1, 2011, and Dec. 31, 2011, in Damascus Twp.

- Caroline Falco, 20, Lake Ariel, 45 days to 23½ months in the county prison, a sex offender evaluation, a mental health evaluation and $250 for a DNA sample for corruption of minors between Jan. 20 and Feb. 5 in Paupack Twp.

- Ryan T. Cafferty, 25, Waymart, seven to 18 months in the county prison and a drug and alcohol evaluation for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 1 in Waymart.

- Alan D. Burdick, 43, Waymart, 72 hours to six months in the county prison, $1,000 fine, a drug and alcohol evaluation and an alcohol highway safety program for DUI on April 19 in Clinton Twp.

- Christopher Davis, 19, Hones­dale, five days to six months in the county prison, $500 fine, a drug and alcohol evaluation, an alcohol highway safety program and 50 hours of community service for DUI.

- David Scott Miller, 34, Hawley, six to 23½ months in the county prison, a drug and alcohol evaluation, 50 hours of community service and $250 for a DNA sample for delivery of heroin Dec. 7, 2012, in Hawley.

- Kevin Ronald Davis, 35, Gouldsboro, 24 months' probation, a drug and alcohol evaluation, a mental health evaluation and $250 for a DNA sample for making a false written statement Oct. 1, 2012, in Lehigh Twp.

- Edward Cuff, 42, Hawley, six months on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program and 40 hours of community service for boating under the influence of alcohol on June 29 in Paupack Twp.

- Craif Fischer, 50, Canadensis, six months on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program, 40 hours of community service, an alcohol highway safety program and 60 days' driver's license suspension for DUI on May 17 in Hawley.

- Jay K. Hostetler, 54, Milanville, six months on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program, 40 hours of community service and an alcohol highway safety program for DUI on July 6 in Berlin Twp.

- Ian Williams, 28, Gouldsboro, six months on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program and 40 hours of community service for possession of marijuana on April 13 in Lehigh Twp.

- Bryan Hurst, 27, Equinunk, six months on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program, 40 hours of community service, an alcohol highway safety program and 60 days' driver's license suspension for DUI on Sept. 14 in Damascus Twp.
