Hopewell Crime for Dec. 15

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Kidnapping/Abduction: At 9:24 p.m., Dec. 6, police responded to the 3500 block of Granby Street for a reported disturbance. Known offender held victim in residence at gun point. Victim managed to exit residence. Offender was later persuaded to exit and was arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 3 p.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 900 block of Colonial Corner Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole vehicle plates.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/ Accessories: At 11 p.m. Dec. 3, police responded to headquarters regarding a larceny that occurred in the 300 block of Maryland Ave. Unknown offender stole vehicle plates.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: at 12:01 a.m. Dec. 7, police responded to the 100 block of S. 15th Avenue for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window and stole speakers and amp.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 2 p.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 1000 block of Riverside Avenue in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender stole utility poles from construction site.

-Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 5:10 p.m. Dec. 3, police responded to the 3300 block of Freeman Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole A/C unit from residential yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 7:15 p.m. Dec. 5, police were called to the 2700 block of Granby Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole unsecured bicycle from yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: at 7 a.m. Dec. 7, police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Portsmouth Street in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender stole unsecured bicycle from yard.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 1 p.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 3900 block of Grovewood Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole copper from a locked crawl space under a residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: at 2 p.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 3500 block of Oaklawn Boulevard for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole a computer tablet.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 10 a.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 700 block of Cabin Creek Drive regarding a larceny. Unknown offender stole a heat pump from under a residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 2400 block of Lynchburg Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered vehicle by prying window and stole CB radio.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 5 p.m. Dec. 7, police responded to the 100 block of N. 7th Avenue for a reported larceny. Unknown offender damaged vehicle door lock and stole handgun, magazines, dashcam and ammunition.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 a.m. Dec. 2, police responded to the 3000 block of Belmont Avenue for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged a residential meter box.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 2:30 p.m. Dec. 3, police responded to the 400 block of Pinoak Drive for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 6, police responded to the 3400 block of Wilmington Avenue for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged lawn decorations.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8:46 p.m. Dec. 6, police responded to the 900 block of Buren Street for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged residential window by throwing a rock.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 1:54 a.m. Dec. 8, police responded to the 300 block of Woodbine Street for a reported vandalism. Known offender broke the glass on a residential storm door and was arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 p.m. Dec. 8, police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Oaklawn Boulevard in reference to an assault. Known offender assaulted victim by chocking, damaged hotel room and clothing and was arrested.
