Hopewell Crime for Jan. 19

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Commercial: At 8 a.m. Jan. 10, police responded to the 2100 block of Richmond St. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered business by breaking side window. Nothing stolen.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 10 p.m. Jan. 11, police responded to S. 8th Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence by removing window a/c unit and stole bicycles.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 6:30 a.m. Jan. 6, police responded tot he 200 block of N. 12th Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence via unlocked side window and stole cash.

- Counterfeiting/Forgery: At 12 a.m. Jan. 6, police responded tot he 300 block of N. 6 th Ave. in regards to a fraud. Known offender passed a counterfeit check at a business and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 4:04 p.m. Jan. 6, police initiated a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Woodlawn St. Driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

- Fraud-Fraud by Impersonation: At 9:11 p.m. Jan. 12, police conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Oaklawn Blvd. Driver gave police false information and was arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 9 p.m. Jan. 10, police responded to the 1200 block of City Point Road in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender cut catalytic converter from truck.

Larceny-Theft From Building: At 1 a.m. Jan. 6, police responded to headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 2100 block of Cloverdale Ave. Unknown offender stole a firearm from a residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 9 p.m. Jan. 9, police were dispatched to the 2400 block of W. Broadway for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered locked vehicle by punching a lock and stole a printer and cds.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 8 p.m. Jan. 9, police responded to headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 800 block of S. 15th Ave. Unknown offender entered unlocked vehicle and stole ids and checkbook.

- Robbery/Individual: At 9:27 p.m. Jan. 10, police responded to JRMC for a reported assault that occurred at Old Woodlawn St. and Cedar Level Road. Two unknown offenders assaulted and robbed the victim by force of cash.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3:43 p.m. Jan. 7, police responded tot he 800 block of City Point Road for a reported vandalism. Known offender broke a commercial window. Petitions pending.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 7 a.m. Jan. 8, police responded to the 3400 block of Virginia St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender spray pained vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: AT 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8, police responded to the 2300 block of Jackson St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender scratched vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11 a.m. Jan. 9, police responded to the 100 block of Memorial Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:34 p.m. Jan. 11, police responded to the 500 block of Jefferson Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged public party property by doing donuts in a vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:30 a.m. Jan. 12, police responded to the headquarters in reference to a vandalism that occurred in the 1800 block of Dublin St. Known offender damaged residential door frames.
