Corruption of minors investigated
State police at Towanda said an unknown person made a 15-year-old girl send multiple explicit pictures of herself over cell phone applications sometime between noon Feb. 15 and 7 p.m. Feb. 17 on Ballard Hill Road in Columbia Township.
The person then harassed her further, via internet sites/applications, police said.

Deer strikes vehicle
Nathaniel Tussey, 27, of Mainesburg, was not injured in a one-vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 on Route 6 in Troy Township, said state police at Towanda.
Police said he was traveling west on Route 6, when a deer came from the south side berm into the westbound lane and his vehicle struck it. Tussey's Subaru Forester was towed by Junior's Towing.
Items recovered
State police at Towanda said they recovered two lanterns, an oil lamp, and a vase Aug. 13 along Fallbrook Road in Troy Township.
Police said the items are believed to have been stolen.

Police investigate one-car crash
State police at Towanda recently investigated a one-car motor vehicle accident in Ulster Township.
According to state police, at about 8:38 p.m. Feb. 15, a westbound 2005 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Tayler M. Bidlack, 18, of Towanda, slid into a guiderail on the west side of Milan-East Smithfield Road just east of MacAfee Road. The vehicle traveled and struck a snow bank, then veered off the westbound lane and struck a guide rail on the eastbound shoulder, police said.
Bidlack was not injured and had been wearing a seatbelt, police said. Police cited Bidlack for failure to stay in lane.
No injuries in two-car MVA
State police at Towanda recently investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident in Sheshequin Township.
According to state police information, at about 3:51 p.m. Feb. 12, a 2000 Saturn SL2 operated by Caitlynn Marie Crain, 17, of Sayre, lost control on a snow-covered Bradley Road and sideswiped the driver's side of a 1999 GMC Sierra.
The Saturn had disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Sutty's Towing, police said. The Sierra, operated by 43-year-old William Dale Mosier Jr. of Athens, had minor damage. Neither driver was injured, police said.
Police cited Crain for speeding in district court, police said.
The Ulster division of Tri-Township Ambulance and the Ulster-Sheshequin Fire Association assisted at the scene, police said.
Rubbish scattered
State police are investigating a scattering rubbish incident in Ridgebury Township.
According to information from state police at Towanda, an unknown actor placed multiple garbage bags and boxes on a property on Mink Ranch Road sometime on Feb. 2 or Feb. 3. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at (570) 265-2186.
Charges filed in Ridgebury Twp. accident
State police at Towanda recently investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident in Ridgebury Township.
According to state police, at about 8:39 p.m. Jan. 29, a maroon 1999 Buick Regal attempted to pass a silver 2008 Pontiac Vibe on Berwick Turnpike, about half a mile south of the New York state line. While passing, the driver of the Regal, 45-year-old John Gary Hall of Milan, lost control of the vehicle and sideswiped the Vibe, police said.
The Vibe then traveled off the west shoulder and struck a mailbox and tree with its front end, police said. The Vibe had disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Dave Weed's Towing.
Following the accident, Hall failed to stop and fled south on Berwick Turnpike, police said. Police later located Hall at his residence. Police arrested Hall for suspicion of driving while under the influence and transported him to Towanda Memorial Hospital for a blood draw, police said.
Neither Hall nor the driver of the Vibe, Cynthia McCarthy, 54, of Gillett, reported injuries, police said.
The Ridgebury Volunteer Fire Department assisted police at the scene.
Two escape injury in one-car crash
State police at Towanda recently investigated a one-car motor vehicle accident in Ulster Township.
According to state police, at about 12:40 p.m. Feb. 9, a 2002 Acura CL operated by Heather L. Powell, 38, of Towanda, was traveling northbound on Route 220 when it lost control in snowy conditions. Police said the vehicle spun clockwise in the southbound lane and struck a ditch on the southbound shoulder with its front end.
Neither Powell nor a passenger, 19-year-old Tyler L. Sibley of Towanda, were injured, police said. Police cited Powell for failure to stay in lane.
Harassment charges filed
State police recently charged two Ulster residents with harassment following an altercation in Ulster Township.
According to state police at Towanda, Donald Roach, 53, and Jordan Roach, 27, were involved in a physical altercation at about 12:55 p.m. Feb. 3 at an Ulster Road location. Both were charged with harassment in district court, police said.
Man charged with theft
A Sayre man was recently charged with three counts of theft by unlawful taking by Athens Township police.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Nicholas Peter Malorzo, 23, was also charged with three counts each of theft by deception and retail theft.
Police said Malorzo removed $157.46 in merchandise from the Walmart store on Elmira Street, then returned the stolen merchandise in exchange for cash and gift cards. The thefts occurred on Jan. 13, Jan. 19 and Jan. 22, police said.
Malorzo's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 18.
Two charged following traffic stop
A Waverly man and a Sayre woman were recently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Athens Township police.
According to papers filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Jordan Nathaniel Frisbie, 20, was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe during a traffic stop at the Dandy Mini Mart on Elmira Street.
Police said Erica Christine Coolbaugh, 24, was found to be in possession of two hypodermic syringes and a metal spoon with residue on it during the same stop.
Frisbie and Coolbaugh are both scheduled to appear March 18 at preliminary hearings.
DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Matthew Harlan Rogers, 50, of Athens, by Athens Township police, on Jan. 19, on Sheshequin Road in Athens. Rogers has also been charged with failure to obey traffic control devices and careless driving. A blood alcohol test revealed that Rogers' blood alcohol content was .19 percent on the day of his arrest. Rogers has been sent a summons to appear March 18 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw for a preliminary hearing.
Melinda L. Salsman, 27, of Sayre, by Sayre Borough police, on Feb. 15, on West Lockhart Street in Sayre. Salsman has also been charged with operating without properly functioning headlamps, failure to keep right and failure to stop at a stop sign. Salsman failed a field sobriety test and consented to a blood alcohol test to determine her blood alcohol content. Salsman was arraigned Feb. 15 by Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Salsman's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
