Retail theft
HUMMELS WHARF - A Coal Township woman was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking two shirts from JC Penny at the Susquehanna Valley Mall at 4 p.m. Friday, according to state police at Selinsgrove.
State police reported that Gabriel Powlus, 20, allegedly concealed $54 worth of merchandise in her handbag and attempted to leave the store without paying for it.
