Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Charles Saxon, 48, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for six months to 18 months, fines of $750.00 and court costs, restitution of $160.00, for the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver, a felony. Trooper Mike Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Saxon following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Charles Saxon, 48, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania Correctional Facility of from six months to 18 months, fines of $750.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Possession with intent to Deliver, a felony. Trooper Mike Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Saxon following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Trooper Mike Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Saxon following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Borough.
Joseph Goodman, 48, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to Probation for a term of 12 months, fines of $250.00 plus court costs, for the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Goodman for the offense in September 2014.
Joseph Goodman, 48, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 85 days to 18 months, followed by Probation supervision for a term of 15 months, fines of $850.00 plus court costs, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree and Criminal Mischief, a summary offense. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Goodman for the offense in September 2014.
Joseph Goodman, 48, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for five days to five months, 29 days, fines of $1,000.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Steve Burlingame of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Goodman for the offense in November 2014.
John Schwartzbauer, 29, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for five days to six months, fines of $300 plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Schwartzbauer for the offense in July 2014.
Suann Dyar, 33, Granville Summit, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in a Pennsylvania Correctional Facility for a term of five months to 24 months, fines of $300.00 plus court costs, for the offense of Criminal Mischief, a felony of the third degree. Trooper Kyle Gruber of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dyar following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township.
Suann Dyar, 33, Granville Summit, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in a Pennsylvania Correctional Facility for a term of six months to 60 months, fines of $1,500.00 plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Kyle Gruber of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dyar following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.
Suann Dyar, 33, Granville Summit, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in a Pennsylvania Correctional Facility for a term of one month to 12 months, fines of $100.00 plus court costs, for the offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Peter Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dyar following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township.
William Schrader, 64, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, fines of $1,000.00 and court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schrader following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.
William Schrader, 64, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $250.00 and court costs, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Trooper Keith Roman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schrader following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Monica Kitchen, 60, Dushore, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of two counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, both misdemeanors. Kitchen will be sentenced on June 11, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Tribendis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kitchen following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.
Heather Powell, 39, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of two counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, one a misdemeanor, and the other a misdemeanor of the first degree. Powell will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bryan Bellows and Officer Corey McLinko of Towanda Borough arrested Powell for the offenses on Aug. 10, 2014, and Feb. 4, 2015.
Christopher Montemurao, 26, LeRaysville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Montemurao will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Montemurao for the offense on Jan. 24, 2015.
Denitta Alteri, 45, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree.
Alteri will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Alteri for the offense on Nov. 4, 2014.
Jeffery Middleton, 42, Barton, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Middleton will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Middleton for the offense on Dec. 31, 2013.
Dwight Johnson, 20, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Burglary, a felony of the second degree, and Theft, a felony three. Johnson will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Johnson for the offense on Nov. 30, 2014 and Dec. 10, 2014.
Donald Morgenstern, 58, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, Driving under Suspension, a summary offense. Morgenstern will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department and Officer Corey McLinko of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Morgenstern for the offenses on Oct. 17, 2013 and Nov. 26, 2014.
Richard Leighton, 69, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Homicide by Vehicle, a felony of the third degree. Leighton will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Peter Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Leighton following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.
Raymond Searles, 45, Barton, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Searles will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Searles for the offense on Nov. 21, 2014.
William Weidman, 31, New Albany, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Weidman will be sentenced on June 4, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Moser of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Weidman following investigation of an incident that occurred in Overton Township.
Mary Brennan, 51, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Brennan will be sentenced on June 1, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Brennan for the offense on Nov. 10, 2014.
Tina Lane, 49, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver, a felony. Lyndon Johnson, 52, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Johnson for the offense in Sayre, Pa. in December 2014.
Joseph Keezer, 45, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Bargesser will be sentenced on June 1, 2015, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bargesser following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington Township.
Carole Hobday, 55, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Hobday will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics arrested Hobday following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Township on June 27, 2013.
Kristine Haefner, 54, Williamsport, Pa., entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree, Habitual offenders DUI related and summaries offenses. Haefner will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Michael Tribendis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Haefner following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reports that the following person(s) was recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Maynard Smith, 75, Wyalusing, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Smith will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Smith must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith for the offense.
