Aluminum cans taken
State police at Towanda said someone cut the locks and entered a shed at 8 a.m. Nov. 12 at the corner of Cottage Avenue and Mountain Avenue in Sylvania and removed aluminum cans from inside the shed and then fled.
Police listed the victims as "Northern Tier Landfill" and Sylvania Lions Club.
Water pipe vandalized
State police at Towanda said someone vandalized a water pipe along the roadway between 11 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. Nov. 14 on Lookout Road in Columbia Township.
Police said the victim was "Fluid Delivery Systems."
A dark-colored Jeep Commander was observed in the area, police said.
Laptop, iPads taken
State police at Towanda said a residential burglary occurred sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Oct. 28 on Seymour Drive in Columbia Township.
Police said the burglar or burglars gained access to the residence of Eric Allen Faust, 37, of Columbia Cross Roads by breaking a window. A Toshiba laptop and two Apple iPads were stolen from the residence, police said.

Window broken
State police at Towanda said an incident of criminal mischief took place between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 17 on Dietz Road in Wilmot Township.
Police said someone broke a garage door window and left the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim was Mary Margaret Dyer, 62, police said.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
Cell phones taken
State police at Towanda said a residential burglary took place between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 5 on Mary Lane in Canton Township.
Police said the victim, Kenneth Seymour Carey, 35, of Wyalusing, said that two cell phones, a wrist watch, and a roll of paper towels were stolen from the residence of Chris Harris Gilbert, who had recently died.

Attempted burglary reported
Kathleen Ann Millen, 65, of Gillett, told state police at Towanda that someone tried to gain entry into a residence between 3 p.m. Oct. 23 and 11 a.m. Oct. 27 on Ayres Road in Wells Township, but were unsuccessful.
Police said the screen door on the backside of the residence was damaged. Millen was listed as the victim in the incident.

Motors, wire taken
State police at Towanda said eight electrical motors and approximately 50 feet of copper wire were removed from the Jones Saw Mill building sometime between 6 p.m. Oct. 28 and midnight Nov. 3 on Jones Mill Road in Burlington Township.
Police listed the victim as David Martin Oley, 57, of Ulster.

Man not injured
State police at Towanda said Theodore M. Pannebaker, 23, of Mainesburg, was not injured when his Ford Explorer became engulfed in flames while traveling west at 5:50 a.m. Nov. 4 on Porter Road in Columbia Township.
Woman not injured
State police at Towanda said Tressa M. Bair, 19, of Columbia Cross Roads was not injured in a deer/vehicle crash that occurred when she was traveling eastbound at 11:10 p.m. Nov. 3 on Route 6 in West Burlington Township.
Police said a deer ran out onto the roadway, from the north side of the roadway, causing her to strike the deer with the front end of her Ford Focus.
No injuries reported
State police at Towanda said Raymond A. Schutt, 42, of Waverly, N.Y. was not injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. Sept. 25 on Little Meadows Road in Warren Township.
Police said he was traveling northbound on the road in his Peterbilt 378, and lost control, due to unknown reasons. Police said the vehicle exited the eastern edge of the roadway.
According to police, he tried to regain control of the vehicle, but it struck the southern end of a culvert for an entrance to a field. It re-entered the roadway, traveling across both lanes of travel, overturning onto the passenger side. According to police, the vehicle struck a small upward embankment, on the western edge of the roadway, before sliding to stop, facing north, in the southern lane of the roadway, on the passenger side. Police said Shelby's Towing towed the vehicle. Schutt was charged with a violation of "roadways laned," police said.
No one injured
State police at Towanda said no one was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 11 p.m. Nov. 6 in Rome Township.
According to police, Nathanial W. Mosier, 20, of Towanda, was traveling north on Route 187, when, for unknown reasons, he drove off the east roadside and struck a guard rail. He continued over top of the guard rail, into the east roadside ditch, striking a utility pole and splitting it in half. He continued for approximately 20 feet, and his Toyota Tacoma overturned onto its passenger side. It continued rolling until it came to final rest on its driver's side. Police said Babcock's Towing towed the vehicle, and Rome Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the scene. A passenger, Suzanne R. Lampman, 18, of Rome was not injured. Police said Mosier was charged with a violation of "driving on roadways."
