Hopewell Crime for Jan. 12

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Assault-Aggravated: at 10:50 p.m. Dec. 31, police responded to the 100 block of Kippax St. for a reported assault that occurred at E. Randolph Road and E. Poythress St. Known offender cut victim during argument and was arrested.

- Assault-Aggravated/Domestic: At 12 a.m. Jan. 1, police responded to the 4100 block of Old Iron Court for a reported assault. During argument, known offenders cut each other. One was arrested, warrants obtained for the other.

- Assault-Aggravated/Dometic: At 11:53 p.m. Jan. 1, police responded to the 300 block of Memorial Ave. in regards to a disturbance. Known offender assaulted victim with fists, discharged a weapon in the residence and was arrested.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 7:22 p.m. Dec. 31, police responded to the 200 block of N. 12th Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offenders entered residence by kicking front door and stole game system and stereo.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 11:17 a.m. Jan. 4, police responded to the 300 block of S. 13th Ave. for a reported assault. Three unknown offenders entered residence by force, assaulted two victims and stole game system.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 4 p.m. Jan. 4, police were dispatched to the 500 block of N. 10th Ave. for an open door. Unknown offender entered residence by forcing front door and stole tools and space heaters.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 4 a.m. Jan. 5, police responded to the 1100 block of Kruper Ave. in reference to a vehicle accident. Driver was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 5 p.m. Dec. 30, police responded to the 3200 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole catalytic converter from vehicle.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 5 p.m. Dec. 31, police responded to the 3200 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole catalytic converter from vehicles.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6 p.m. Jan. 3, police responded tot he 900 block of Colonial Corner for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole cash from ATM during a withdrawal.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 12 p.m. Dec. 31, police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Trenton St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole exterior a/c unit.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 1 a.m. Dec. 31, police responded to the 100 block of S. 4th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered vehicle by forcing lock and stole wallet and CDs.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 12 a.m. Jan. 1, police responded to the 100 block of N. 12th Ave. in regards to a larceny. Unknown offender entered school bus and stole fire extinguisher, expending it in the parking lot.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 12:16 a.m. Jan. 3, police responded to the 400 block of S. 15th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered vehicle and stole several tools and machine equipment.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Moped, Motorcycle, Other Vehicle: At 11:30 p.m. Dec. 30, police responded to the 200 block of S. 15th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole a 4 wheeler vehicle from the side of a residence by cutting the chain.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Auto Stolen: At 8 p.m. Jan. 3, police responded to headquarters in reference to a stolen auto from the 1500 block of Atlantic St. Unknown offender stole vehicle from in front of residence by unknown means and returned it to the same spot with slight damage.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 p.m. Dec. 30, police responded to the 500 block of S. 17th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle windows and scratched vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11 a.m. Dec. 30, police were dispatched to the 500 block of S. 12th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke construction equipment windshield.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 2:32 p.m. Dec. 31, police responded to the 1500 block of Peterson Mill Road for a reported assault. Known offender assaulted victim and broke TV, phone and window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12:36 a.m. Jan. 1, police responded to the 200 block of N . 16th Ave. in reference to a disturbance. Known offender broke residential door and was arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6 a.m. Jan. 1, police responded to headquarters for a reported assault that occurred in the 2600 block of Maple St. Known offender assaulted victim, damaged vehicle and was arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 4 p.m. Jan. 3, police responded tot he 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported vandalism. Offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6:30 a.m. Jan. 4, police responded to the 200 block of N . 21st Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged mailbox, window and porch chair.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 12:23 a.m. Jan. 1, police responded to the 1500 block of Edward Bland Court in regards to shots being fired. Unknown offender fired shots in area, hitting residence. No injuries.
