Bradford County District Attorney Criminal Case resolutions

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently plead guilty and was sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

Timothy Short, 36, Towanda, PA, entered pleas of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced to five days and court costs. Trooper George Layou of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Short for the offense on Nov. 29, 2013, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Towanda Township.

Mark Briggs, 45, Gillett, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to 15 days and a court costs.

Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Briggs for the offense in Sept. 26, 2013, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Matthew Janne, 31, New Albany, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $156 and court costs. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Janne for the offense in Aug. 12, 2013, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Overton Township.

Stephen Jenner, 26, New Albany, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $156 and court costs. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jenner for the offense in Aug. 14, 2013, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Overton Township.

Thomas Shock, 36, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary and was sentenced to pay a fine of $50 and court costs. Trooper Robert Lumbard of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Shock for the offense in October 23, 2013, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred Burlington Township.

Troy Ellers, 30, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to pay a fine of $300 and court costs. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Ellers for the offense in Oct. 27, 2013, following investigation of a Disorderly Conduct that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Lee Ann Keenon, 33, Nichols, NY, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense and was sentenced to nine days plus a fine of $300 and court costs.

Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Keenon for the offense in Nov. 17, 2013, following investigation of a retail theft that occurred in Athens Township.

Candi Belles, 27, Nichols, NY, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense and was sentenced to nine days plus a fine of $300, and court costs.

Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Belles for the offense in Nov. 17, 2013, following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Township.

Debra Spencer, 51, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to pay a fine, and court costs. Officer John Werner of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Spencer for the offense.

Rusty Campbell, 53, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of two counts of Harassment and was sentenced to pay a fine of $101, and court costs. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Campbell for the offense.

Gerald V. Brown, 64, Athens, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Harassment and pay a fine, restitution in the amount of $777.41 and court costs. Trooper Christopher Schelling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brown for the offense.

Lynn M. Bastion, 54, Canton, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to pay a fine. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Bastion for the offense.

Zachary J. Lawson, 28, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Criminal Mischief and was sentenced to pay a fine of $300 and court costs. Trooper Steve Steransky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lawson for the offense.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Russell Allen Matthews, 22, Gillett, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Police Correctional Facility of from nine months to five years, for the offense of Indecent Assault on a Minor victim.

Mathews will be under a lifetime requirement to report his residence and employment as a sexual offender.

Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Matthews following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.

Jeffrey Pearsall Jr, 24, Sayre, PA, was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from four months to two years for the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony of the second degree. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Pearsall for the offense for the offense in 2008.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Virgil W. Ivy, 50, Gillett, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Ivy will be sentenced on Jan. 16, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper John Youngblood of the Pennsylvania State Police Department arrested Ivy for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Township.

Rebecca Mitchell, 25, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Mitchell will be sentence on Jan. 16, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Sergeant Keith Stackhouse of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Mitchell for the offense in June 28, 2013.

Abraham Nonnemaker, 36, Stroudsburg, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Nonnemaker was sentenced to one year Probation to fine $200, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Rich Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Nonnemaker for the offense in June 13, 2013.

Justin Sluyter, 25, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Possess of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor and Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, misdemeanor of the first degree. Sluyter will be sentenced on Jan. 27, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Sluyter for the offense in September 9, 2013.

Timothy Beavers, 28, Waverly, NY, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Beavers will be sentenced on Jan. 16, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Beavers for the offense in Sept. 11, 2014.

Roman A. Kifiev, 24, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Ivy was be sentenced to six months probation and a fine of $300, and a license suspension, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Officer John Hennessy of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Kifiev for the offense in June 13, 2013.

Matthew P. Gay, 21, Waverly, NY, entered a plea of guilty to four counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Gay will be sentenced on Jan. 27, 2014. Gay was arrested for the offense by Officers of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Sayre Borough Police Department.

Megan L. Cunningham, 24, Mansfield, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Bath Salts) and was sentenced to probation for a term of one year. An Agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Cunningham for the offense.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Matthew Temple, 26, Waverly, NY, charged with Theft, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Temple will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Temple must perform 40 hours of community service. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charged for an offense in Ulster Township.

Debrah Reese, 53, Canton, PA, charged with the offense of Simple Assault, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of six months. While on Probation, Reese will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department. Additionally, Reese must perform community service. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department filed the Charges in Aug. 1, 2013 for the offense in Canton Borough.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Renee Shattuck, 26, Canton, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Shattuck will be sentenced Jan. 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Shattuck for the offense in Aug. 4, 2013.

Bryant Engle, 24, Towanda, PA, entered pleas of guilty to two counts of the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, felonies, and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Engle will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Engle for the offense in October 2013. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Engle following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Borough and Monroe Township.

Derek Schanbacher, 34, Roaring Branch, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Schanbacher will be sentenced on Jan. 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Schanbacher for the offense on July 20, 2013.

Joel Schoonover, 27, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor and Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Schoonover will be sentenced on Jan. 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Trooper Michael Mislevy and Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schoonover following investigation of an incident that occurred in November and Towanda Township.

Janet M. Cobb, 26, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft and was sentenced to probation for a term of 24 months and a fine of $250. Cobb was also ordered to pay restitution as determined to be due and owning. Cobb was also resentenced following revocation of her earlier sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 98 days to 12 months. Cobb was also ordered to pay $40 (Buy Money). Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department and Officer John Hennessy of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Cobb for the offense.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Patrick Kulick, 29, Towanda, PA, was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 49 days to 12 months, Kulick was also ordered to pay restitution of $460 and a fine of $500, for the offense of Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Trooper Craig Flynn of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kulick following investigation of an incident that occurred in Franklin Township.

Kamry Smiley, 23, Athens, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $250, for the offenses of Retail Theft, misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Smiley for the offense in Aug. 10, 2013.

April May Vanderpool-Thetga, 31, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 63 days to six months, followed by Probation for a term of one year and a fine of $1500, Vanderpool-Thetga will also lose her drivers license for 36 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor and Fleeing and Eluding, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Driving under suspension, DUI related, a summary offense. Trooper James Dughi and Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vanderpool-Thetga following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Jeremy McKenzie, 27, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional of from 95 days to 12 months and a fine of $1800, McKenzie will also lose his driver's license for 30 months, an additional license suspension of 18 months will be imposed for refusal to submit to testing when arrested for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor and Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested McKenzie for the offense in May 12, 2013. Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested McKenzie following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered pleas of "no contest". The plea has the same effect as a guilty plea. It is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged:

Alan Warburton, 58, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of Nolo Contendere to Open Lewdness, misdemeanor of the third degree. Warburton will be sentenced on Jan. 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Richard Evans of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Warburton for the offense.

District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

William E. Smith, 40, West Monroe, LA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from five years, 72 hours to 10 years, six months, and a fine of $1000, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months, for Failure to Register as a Sexual Offender, a Felony of the first degree and Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper John Youngblood of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Township on May 12, 2013.

Bryan Rosario-Meada, 25, Philadelphia, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 90 days to 23 months, 29 days, and a fine of $1,500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, second offense of DUI. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rosario-Meada following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Township.

Shane Collins, 28, Covington, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 16 months to 36 months, and a fine of $2000, for the offenses of two counts of Burglary, a felony of the first degree. Officer Michael Northrup of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Collins for the offense in July 2013.

Gary Brown, 44, Ulster, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of 24 months, a County Intermediate Punishment for 12 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $700, and a fine of $300, he will also lose his driver's license for six months, for the offenses of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony, Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a felony offense. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Brown following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens and Ulster Townships.

Shawn Palmer, 21, Waverly, NY, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from five months to 23 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $1200 and a fine of $150 for the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree, Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the second degree and Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department and Officer Thomas Wilson of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Palmer for the offense in July and August 2011.

Shawn Watkins, 41, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 22 months to six years, he will also ordered to pay restitution of $200 and a fine of $200, and he will also lose his driver's license for six months for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Watkins following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough in May 2013.

Deborah Songer, 51, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months and a fine of $2500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months and additional license suspension of 18 months will be impose for refusal to submit to testing when arrested, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Songer for the offense in May 11, 2013.

Graham Christian, 27, Binghamton, NY, was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for 36 months and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Mark Sadowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Christianson following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Township on May 24, 2013.

Gary Gerow Jr, 26, Morris Run, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from six months to 23 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $140 and a fine of $300, for the offense of Robbery, a felony of the third degree. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Borough arrested Gerow for the offense in May 14, 2013.

William Vosburgh, 35, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from six months to three years and County Intermediate Punishment for 36 months, and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Vosburgh for the offense in March 13, 2013.

District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa:

Justin Irons, 24, Athens, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Irons will be sentenced on Dec. 19, 2013. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Irons for the offense in Sept. 14, 2013.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa:

Mark Matikonis, 37, Monroeton, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Matikonis will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Matilonis must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charges for an offense in Monroe Township on July 11, 2013.

Stephen Maines, 52, Leraysville, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Maines will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Maines must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days and pay restitution.

Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charges for an offense in Wyalusing Township on August 10, 2013.

Chester Lawrence, 62, Mehoopany, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and places on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Lawrence will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Lawrence must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charges for an offense in Wyalusing Township on Aug. 3, 2013.

April Halstead, 32, Laceyville, PA, charged with the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, was accepted into the ARD Program and places on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Halstead will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Halstead must perform 24 hours of community service. Deputy Patrick Butkiewicz of the Bradford County Sherriff's Department filed charges for an offense in Tuscarora Township.

Brooke Maloney, 19, Towanda, PA, charged with the offense of False Impersonating a Public Servant, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Maloney will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Maloney must perform 24 hours community service. Officer John Werner of the Towanda Borough Police Department filed charges for an offense in June 25, 2013 for the offense in Towanda Borough.

Michael Bastion, 62, Troy, PA, charged with the offense of Interfere of Oral Communication, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Bastion will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Bastion must perform 24 hours of community service. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charges for an offense in North Towanda Township in May 23, 2013.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person recently entered a plea of Nolo Contendere in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, PA:

Jared Strunk, 42, Grover, PA, entered a plea of Nolo Contendere/ no contest to Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Struck will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Struck following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Borough in 2012.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa.

Lora K. Thetga, 49, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 15 days to six months, and fines totaling $600, she will lose her driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol and summary offenses. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Thetga for the offense.

Shane C. Isbell, 34, Ulster, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 174 days to 348 days, for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (bath salts).

Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Drug and Narcotics Unit arrested Isbell following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough. Judge Kenneth Brown sentenced Isbell to the 348 days served at the Commonwealth request, so that Isbell could be turned over to Federal Custody for Federal charges.

Michael Slocum, 22, Wyalusing, PA, was sentenced to a term of Probation for a term of 24 months, and a fine of $300.00, for the offense of Corruption of Minors. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Slocum following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ulster Township.

Joseph T. Brown, 54, Wysox, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 100 days to 18 months, and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months. Briggs, 45, Gillett, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months, to 23 months followed by probation for a term of 24 months and a fine of $150, for the offense of Corruption of Minors. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Briggs following investigation of an incident that occurred in South Creek Township.

Darrhyl Hawkins, 27, Monroeton, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of three years and a fine of $100, he will also lose his driver's license for six months for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Drug and Narcotics Unit arrested Hawkins following invesitagation of an incident that occurred in Monroeton Township in 2012.

Michelle Coyne, 46, Waverly, NY, was sentenced to Probation for a term of four years, she was also ordered to pay restitution of $220 (buy money) and a fine of $300, she will also lose her driver's license for six months for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Agents of the Vice and Narcotics Unit of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Coyne following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Township in 2013.

Heather Dyke, 24, Westfield, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of two year, she was also ordered to pay restitution of $50 (buy money), and she will also lose her driver's license for six months, for the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a felony. Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa:

Ashley A. Perry, 27, Athens, PA, charged with the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Perry will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Perry must perform community service as a condition of ARD placement. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges in August 2012.

Allen H. Johnson Jr, 25, Susquehanna, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Johnson will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Alfredo Hernandez, 29, no local address, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of from 21 days to 42 days and a fine of $300. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hernandez for the offense. Immigration authorities have advised the Commonwealth of its intent to deport Hernandez to the country of Mexico.

Stephen Bloss, 32, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Bloss will be sentenced on Feb. 3, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Teneyck will be sentenced on February 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Teneyck following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox, Asylum and Monroe Townships on Sept. 20, 2013.

Kenzie Rider, 22, Canton, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and to Public Drunkenness. Rider will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Rider for the offense in May.

Jenelle Maines, 21, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Maines will be sentenced on Feb. 13, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Maines following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township on October 12, 2013.

Brian Clouse, 56, Rome, PA, was found guilty in a non-jury trial before the Honorable John B. Leete, senior judge, to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Clouse will be sentenced on Feb 3, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Brian Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Clouse for the offense in June 1, 2013.

Keegan Brown, 29, Lockwood, NY, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Brown will be sentenced on Feb. 6, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Brown for the offense on Aug. 3, 2013.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following people were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa:

Adam Heasley, 27, Gillett, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to 11 ½ months, for the offense of Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree.

Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Heasley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township in August 2013.

Grace Kraft, 24, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of Probation for a term of 30 months for the offenses of two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department and Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Kraft for the offense in August 2013.

Trishya Bouse, 26, Monroeton, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 16 days to one year, and a fine of $100, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Bouse for the offense in July 2013.

Jack Maloney-Williams, 22, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment on a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from two years, six months to five years, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $180.00 and a fine of $700, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offenses of three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substances, a felony, Fleeing and Eluding, a felony of the third degree and False Reports, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Josh Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Maloney-Williams for the offense in June 2013. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Maloney-Williams following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township in December 2012 and July 2013.
